Taking an unrestrained approach to artistic self-expression, Azadeh Shladovsky has established, since 2003, a studio practice that reflects a seamless confluence of art, design and interior architecture.
The breadth and diversity of her work arises in large part from her sensorimotor approach to vision. With her unyielding commitment to the integrity of process, Azadeh continues to broaden her artistic reach in order to discover new ways of communicating. The central premise of Azadeh’s work is the exploration of sensory awareness and visual consciousness. Her work manifests perceptual dichotomies in material and spatial expressions that evoke the power of the visceral, challenging the way we choose to see and interpret the world around us.
Azadeh’s work has captured an international audience and the attention of publications including but not limited to: The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, Interior Design, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, Robb Report and Women’s Wear Daily.
