Collective Design is a modern exhibition platform for galleries and independent designers, showcasing both established and emerging art and design from around the world.

Collective Design was founded in 2013 by a passionate group of leaders of the New York design community with a mission to move beyond traditional boundaries of art and design. Over the past six years Collective Design has presented immersive installations, curated important historical exhibitions, commissioned ambitious site-specific projects, and organized experimental showcases of new work, collaborating with over 200 international galleries, institutions and designers including Gaetano Pesce, Mattia Bonetti, Memphis Milano, Hella Jongerius, Design Academy Eindhoven, Storefront for Art and Architecture, Cooper Hewitt and the Noguchi Museum. Young designers who gained early exposure at Collective Design include Cody Hoyt, Crosby Studios, Mimi Jung, Fernando Mastrangelo, and Brian Thoreen.

Through its dynamic events, studio visits, capsule exhibitions and special programs, Collective Design engages and inspires both veteran collectors and those new to design.

Bringing a rigorous curatorial vision, Collective Design continues to present/represent a current vision of collectible design from 20th century masters to today’s emerging talents.
